Be prepared for a once in a life time experience for the whole family! Beaches Turks and Caicos has 614 great rooms and suites located on 65 acres of the best beach front in all of Turks and Caicos. You will enjoy four distinct villages, each with their own architecture and ambiance of Italy, France, and the Caribbean. The world renowned beach is amazing, and there are fun and entertaining activities for everyone to enjoy. The kids will be able to play and experience the awesome 45,000 square-foot water park, while the younger kids enjoy Camp Sesame, featuring famous Sesame Street characters. It is no wonder that Beaches Turks and Caicos has won the award as the Best all Inclusive family resorts in the World by Travel and Leisure Magazine.
An Award Winning Beach
The beach here in Turks and Caicos is absolutely amazing. Conde Nast Traveler has rated the beach in Turks and Caicos as one of the top 10 beaches in the world. The beach is as amazing as you have seen in any pictures. . The water is crystal clear turquoise, and there are many natural reefs great for snorkeling, within swimming distance of the beach. . The water is usually very calm here, and you don’t have to worry about too many big waves. The Sand is very soft sugar white, and looks like a post card picture up against the light blue water. Beaches Turks and Caicos truly is one of the best all-inclusive family resorts in the Caribbean and in fact, it has been rated one of the top 5 family resorts in the world.
Here is my own live video of the pristine beach in Beaches Turks and Caicos
There is plenty of swimming area for everyone in the warm blue water, but the water gets deep quickly, so you will want to make sure that your children are good swimmers, or have some float devices with them. I did see a seven or eight-year-old swim out far to the buoy line all by him self and back, but it did make me nervous.
This resort has 6 great pools and 3 swim up bars on the property. There are pools designed just for the toddlers and small children, and pools that are for tweens and up. The pools are all very clean and have their own unique atmosphere. The Camp Sesame has a special pool area for children ages 0-4. All of the children pools are specially designed to be safe for children to wade and swim in. There are also lifeguards stationed in all of the pool areas as well. Many families, such as mine, loved to go to the beach early in the day and then we would enjoy the pools later in the afternoon. The newest and most lively pool on the property is the Italian Village pool. This pool area has a great swim up bar, and a popular gathering spot of many of the young people.
The Italian village Pool
The French Village Pool
The French Village pool is my favorite pool area on the whole resort.. It is an extremely large pool, and has plenty of poolside beds to rest on, but not too many covered pool areas. The French Village pool also was the hub of many resort activities, such as, water aerobics, and other resort led activities. The French Village pool is a great family pool. There were fun activities going on throughout the day. It was not a party atmosphere like at the Italian Village. This is an area where the entire family can hang out at, have fun, and stay cool in the water.
Four Distinct Villages
As you have gathered from my article about the pools, there are three distinct areas at Beaches Turks and Caicos that you can stay at on your vacation. Each area, also known as villages, has their own unique theme and atmosphere.
Caribbean Village: Authentic Caribbean Charm
The Caribbean Village is the oldest but most charming village at Beaches Turks and Caicos. The Caribbean Village is also the largest area on the resort. It is very tropical with lots of palm trees and lush garden areas.
The Room Accommodations
The rooms start at a deluxe level and then increase in quality all the way to a Presidential two-bedroom luxury villa suite. Of course the deluxe room is the most affordable, and then the price will increase as the room quality goes up. The rooms have all had nice upgrades with either a mahogany king bed and a double pull out sofa sleeper or two mahogany double beds with a single sleep chair. The rooms connect, which make it very nice for families. You can also have cribs and a rollaway. Maximum capacity for all of the rooms in the Caribbean Village is 4 total people. There are many room options to choose from in the Caribbean Village.
The French Village
The French Village was built after the Caribbean village and has a chateau feel and design to it. All of the rooms are built in a European chateau design overlooking the huge French village pool in the center of the village. The grounds in the village are all lush and tropical with many floral gardens.
The French Village Accommodations:
There are five room categories in the French Village. The rooms range from a French village luxury room all the way to the French Village Three Bedroom Suite. Each room has a mahogany king size bed and a trundle bed, or two double beds with a single sleep chair and a full bath. Of course the price goes up as the quality of the rooms goes up.
The Italian Village
This was the newest part of Beaches Turks and Caicos until the new Key West Village opened this year. Open in late 2008, this is the crème dela crème of the entire resort. The Italian Village is chic and cosmopolitan all the way. The Italian Village is also the hot spot on the resort. The pool area is full of activity and has a party type atmosphere. Our teenagers loved to hang out at the Italian Pool area. One great thing I loved about this resort is that it doesn’t matter what room category or village you stay in, everyone can hang out at any of the pool areas, as well as any beach area as well.
The Italian Village Accommodations:
Every room category in the Italian Village is either a concierge level suite or butler service suite. There are no bad rooms in the Italian Village. Their entry level Venetian Family Suite, is amazing, but you can really “kick it up a notch” with the Turin and Portofino two bedroom family suites. There is also great variety in how many guests can stay in each suite. Some of the family suites are designed for six people, while others can accommodate as many as twelve people. Each room will contain a king size mahogany, four post bed, a large 42’ flat screen TV, a bar area with refrigerator and microwave, and a plush lounge sleeping chair, for the adults. For the kids there are mahogany bunk beds with a trundle bed underneath and a 27’ flat screen TV with a state-of-the-art Xbox game system. There is also a multi-function game table, storage unit, closet, and a vanity unit with basin sink and mirror. The bathroom has a two basin mahogany vanity with a wall-mount makeup mirror, hair dryer, a whirlpool tub, a rain head shower, and a private water closet.
No matter what village you stay in, you will have a comfortable and quality room experience at Beaches Turks and Caicos. The real difference is the level of luxury you would like to surround yourself in. We were in the Caribbean Village for most of our stay and we were having a great time, and at the end we were in the Italian Village (more on this later). No matter what, you are still going to have an all-inclusive experience with all of your food and drinks served to you all day long, no matter what village you stay in.
The Key West Village
This is the newest Village at Beaches Turks and Caicos. There are 150 new rooms, suites and villas. All of the rooms will either be butler or concierge service. I have a great new article on the Key West Village. Click here to view photos and learn more about the Key West Village at Beaches Turks and Caicos.

Dining at Beaches Turks and Caicos
There are sixteen dining options available at Beaches Turks and Caicos all-inclusive family resort. I think we actually got to them all, but I will do my best to give you a quick break down of all of them, including our favorites. I will say that I enjoyed some of the best food that I have ever experienced at any resort. Beaches Turks and Caicos really do a fantastic job with their food quality.
Arizona’s Restaurant (Southwestern)
Barefoot by the Sea (Caribbean Sea Food Cuisine)
Mario’s and Giuseppe’s (Italian Food)
Le Petit Chateau (French)(Adult Only)
Schooner’s Restaurant (Seafood)
Kimono’s Restaurant (Hibachi Grill)
The Cricketer’s Pub (British Pub Style Food)
Sushi Bar (Japanese)
Dino’s Brick Oven Pizzeria!
Bella Napoli Pizzeria
Gordon’s Pizzeria and Sandwiches
Bobby D’s (American Ice Cream Parlor and Fast Food)
Reflections Restaurant (International cuisine buffet)
Sapodilla’s Restaurant (Continental Cuisine) (Adult Only)
Café de Paris (Gourmet Coffee and Pastries)
The Sky Lounge (Extra Charge)
Think Starbucks Coffee shop, when you think of this café. Located next to Giuseppe’s in the French Village, you could get any type of specialty coffee drink there from a late, to a frozen caramel mocha. My older daughters and I are all coffee junkies anyway, so this was our first stop every morning before breakfast. They also had some incredible pastries there, like coconut macaroons, chocolate tarts, warm breakfast sandwiches, and so many other fattening things. We would get our morning gourmet coffee while we waited for our table to be ready at Giuseppe’s for breakfast. Our daughter Josie actually braved Hurricane Irene, and went out in the storm and walked to the café to get a cup of coffee! Later she posted on Facebook that she risked her life for a cup of coffee from the Café. Obviously, it wasn’t the heart of the storm at that point! 😉 Kids!
The Late Night Chocolate Buffet
The Late Night Chocolate Buffet usually is scheduled on Sundays, because that is one of the special food events designed to welcome the new guests that arrive at the beginning of the week. The buffet also has all kinds of incredible chocolate desserts, such as brownies, cakes, chocolate fondue, candies, and many other gourmet chocolate items to put your taste buds into chocolate heaven.
Family Beach Party
The Resort Beach Party is usually held on Thursday, because many of the guests come in at the beginning of the week, and leave to go home by Friday or Saturday. The resort blocks off a large section of beach, brings in a stage, and has all kinds of delicious foods set up. There are two delicious buffets set up on each side of the seating area. One side has authentic Caribbean food, while the other is more American style with grilled burgers, fries, chicken nuggets, as well as many great desserts too. Then there is live entertainment on the stage and many entertaining contests with the kids and adults. I actually won the limbo contest that they had for the adults. They had a limbo contest for the kids too. It was a great party, and a real fun time.
There are 13 total bars at Beaches Turks and Caicos all-inclusive resort. I love the four swim up bars that are located in each pool on the resort. I loved being able to swim right up to the bar, order a drink, and go back to swimming without ever coming out of the water. The drinks are all made with premium liquor, although I do think that they could provide a little larger glass for their drinks.
Events and Entertainment
Sesame Street Resort Parade
On Tuesday nights, Beaches Turks and Caicos have a Sesame Street Parade. The children’s staff gets all dressed up into fancy costumes, and all of the Sesame Street characters, along with any of the kids that are part of the resort’s Sesame activities during the day and they all march through the Caribbean Village. It was a pretty cool thing to see.
Every night we were treated to some great entertainment. Some nights were better than others of course. Two of our favorites were a fire eater/dancer, and an incredible Caribbean Dance show that was really well done.
The Largest Water Park in The Caribbean
This water park is the best in all of the Caribbean. There are two incredible water slides, a lazy river, where you can float along on an inner tube, a surf simulator, and a smaller fun water area for the smaller kids. I could write about this water park all day, but I would rather just show you. My girls had a lot of fun everyday going to the water park. It is especially fun kids to keep trying to master the surf simulator. It is not the easiest thing to do, as my daughter Kylie found out. The best part about Pirate’s Island is that it is built for all ages. There are sections of the Park, as I stated earlier, that are designed for 5-7yrs, 8-10yrs, 11-14yrs (tweens) and 15-17 years (teens).
Caribbean Adventure Club with Sesame Street:
There are so many activities and programs for the kids at Beaches Turks and Caicos. Most of the activities include kids clubs, which can be broken down into three age groups. Camp Sesame is a spacious air –conditioned building with Nannies and counselors that cater to children from ages 0-11 months, 12-24 months, and up to 3-4 yrs. Camp Sesame is equipped with cribs, swings and rockers. There is also a swimming pool with canopy, separate play area, kid’s playground, and arts and crafts. All of the nursery & babysitting staff are trained in childcare. This is a great service for any parents of young children. Let’s face it; if you have a pre-school child, you probably haven’t had many breaks or much time for romance or taking care of yourself. This is an opportunity to their trusted staff take great care of your little one, while you and Dad get some much needed pampering and romance.
Kids Club: is designed for kids ages 5-8 or 9-11. You check your child in the club in the morning, and the staff has many different activities planned for the kids at many of the resort’s fun locations. Sometimes they are doing basketball shooting and lessons on the basketball courts, other times they are doing something on the beach or at one of the resort’s pools. Depending on the child’s age, the activity will be different.
X-box 360 game Room
Beaches Turks and Caicos has an awesome X-Box 360 game room that all of the kids will enjoy! Including the big kids, like my husband, who I couldn’t get away from the Football Video Game.
Beaches Turks and Caicos has a teen night club called Club Liquid. They have special times for teens only, and it provides a fun and safe environment for your teens. Later in the night, Club Liquid opens later in the night for all of the adults to dance the night away.
One interesting fact is that, where Beaches is, on Grace Bay, the whole Bay is a national sea park, and has a lot of protection laws on the fishing and boating that can be done on the water. In fact, due to Beaches all-inclusive resort being located in a National Sea Park, they do not include water skiing, or a banana boat in their water sports. The resort manager explained that not having these water activities helps stay with the “green” focus of the Sandals and Beaches Corporation. Sandals and Beaches are very environmentally conscious.

I would love to help you with your next all inclusive family vacation. I truly believe that this will be a vacation that your family will be talking about for years to come!
